Planning an Original Television Advert

The purpose of this assignment is to:
-Be able to originate and develop an idea for a television advertisement.

Scenario:
You have been asked by a large Company to produce a 30 second long television advertisement for their new product. You are responsible for all pre and post production work. You must first plan and pitch your idea for the advertisement to the client. On their approval you must then organise your crew effectively to produce a high quality product. You must also record the process in the form of an online production blog. This blog must be designed to demonstrate the process young film makers must go through to be successful in the advertising industry.

Task:

Our task as a group is to produce a 30 seconds long television advertisement advertising their new product. Before we are able to produce our advert advertising this new product, we first have to make a plan. The plan that are to be included are in the following:

- Writing a proposal and it's outline.
- What the product is
- Which market it fits into (e.i. food, entertainment, etc)
- What it's USP (Unique Selling Point) is.

Planning:

Our group decided what our product will be. In our planning sheet, we also include the following:
-Product
-Product Name/Title
-Target Audience
- USP of the product

Our advert will be advertising for the new fashion week this upcoming spring season. We are advertising for the new brand of clothes that is suitable for spring season. The title we came up with for this theme is Elite Spring Collection. 'Elite' is logo that we will be using and the 'Spring Collection' is the title of the theme for its season.
The target audience for our fashion clothing will appeal mainly for late teens and young adults.
This is one of the USP that we have for our product as most company, when they advertise for clothing their target audience are either just mainly for kids, or for teens, or adults.
We included a slogan along out title name. We have as 'Be Elite'. Elite means- a select group that is superior in terms of ability or qualities to the rest of a group or society.
