Screening/Focus
In order to effectively evaluate our product I have to collect audience feedback. The way to collect audience feedback is by organising a screening of our finished work, by inviting our colleagues, tutors, and peers.
Summary of my findings:
- What did you think about our advert? Did you find it exciting, boring...?
> Really Good; Exciting; Really Good
- Would you say that the advert is suitable for our target audience ages 13-23? If so, why?
>Yes- Show more of the clothing.
- Does the advert focuses on the product? Were we able to show what we are advertising for?
> Yes- Something people around that ages would wear.
- Are there things that could be improve? For example, slower pace when editing, show the model's face, show more of the area of filming.
> Yes- Especially the title.
From the responses that I have received with my focus groups it clearly shows that they have the same opinion (as seen from the video). With their responses it will help me improve my editing skills and gives me more understanding in how to make a proper advert especially when advertising for clothes.
My focus group thinks that the advert was 'really good' and they find it 'exciting' (as they have said) and it clearly shows that they did enjoyed it with the facial expressions that they had whilst watching it (as shown in the video).
